We are seeking applicants for the role of Modules Market Development Engineer in Italy. You will join the Power Modules Technical Marketing team to support the development and execution of the Marketing Strategic plan, managing activities for specific markets and product lines to establish or enhance product positioning, focusing on application requirements and maintaining close contact with a global customer base.

Job Location:

Vishay Semiconductor Italiana spa, located in Borgaro Torinese, Italy, specializes in designing, developing, and manufacturing power diodes and power modules. The site employs around 300 staff, with expansion plans underway.

Responsibilities:

1. Support the definition and implementation of the Marketing Strategic plan.
2. Manage activities for specific markets and product lines to improve or differentiate product positioning in collaboration with the Product Marketing Team.
3. Identify, analyze, and quantify market segments, monitor competitors, and understand customer needs.
4. Conduct application tests and provide feedback on prototypes to R&D.
5. Provide application support to customers through Regional Marketing and Sales Teams, and collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing groups.
6. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, especially technical contacts.
7. Stay updated on application development trends by engaging with customers, conferences, and internal teams.
8. Create Application Notes, technical materials, and Selector Guides to support new product launches.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electronics & Power Engineering or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Power Electronics and Devices.
• Hands-on experience with power electronics projects or power converters.
• Proficient in IT tools (emails, MS-Office, collaboration tools like Teams), with data analysis skills; software or coding skills are a plus.
• Fluent in English; Italian language skills are highly desirable and required for learning if not already known.
• Good project and program management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Motivated to face new challenges and capable of traveling globally with an open mindset.
