RINA is currently recruiting for a Power Electronics Engineer to join its team in L'Aquila within the Electronics and Systems Engineering Division.

Mission

To contribute to the design and development of power and control electronic equipment, hardware, and products. The role involves working with circuits, electronic components, and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze project specifications and collaborate with other specialists to develop solutions that meet requirements.
  • Design electronic circuits and perform theoretical analysis to evaluate worst-case scenarios, considering stresses on components and mitigation strategies.
  • Create schematics and PCB layouts using engineering software tools.
  • Prepare documentation and files necessary for prototype verification, validation, and certification.
  • Assist in preparing project documentation, milestone reports, and participate in project reviews.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering or Electronics.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., Spice, Saber, Altium) and schematic tools (e.g., Cadence, Mentor).
  • Experience in embedded environments such as aerospace or military is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of electronic and electrical engineering principles, risk management, and requirements analysis.
  • Strong understanding of power flows, device design, and problem-solving skills.
  • Mandatory proficiency in Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
