ISTITUTO ITALIANO DI TECNOLOGIA seeks a post-doctoral researcher to advance data analysis for multimodal sensing and prosthetic control at the Rehab Technologies Lab in Genova. The project focuses on AI, robotics, and human‑machine interaction for upper- and lower-limb prosthetics.

You will work across physiology signal processing, ML, and real‑time validation with prosthetic systems, collaborating with international teams and contributing to scientific publications.

Formación

• PhD required in computer science, mechatronics, electronics or related field.
• Documented experience in mechatronics, data analysis, and publishing.
• Good knowledge of English and basic office tools.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze multimodal data including EMG, pressure, and motion signals.
• Develop model-based and ML-driven methods for prosthesis control and human‑machine interaction.
• Validate concepts with experimental data and real-time prosthetic tests.
