Descrizione del lavoro

The Department of Industrial Engineering (DII) of the University of Trento will soon open 1) a post-doc position, and 2) two PhD positions in the framework of ERC starting grant project flEAP (PI: Dr. Giacomo Moretti). The flEAP project aims to push the boundaries of an emerging class of lightweight high-power-density electromechanical drives, based on dielectric polymers and fluids, and investigate their application in unconventional environments -https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101163668.

We are looking for highly motivated and talented candidates, interested to work on a multidisciplinary project at the intersection of engineering (mechanical/electronics) and applied physics.

Ideal candidates for the post-doc position should hold a PhD title (already awarded), proven expertise with experimental projects, and expertiese in mechatronics, smart materials or electrostatics.
