Overview
Portfolio Manager – Ebury Milan, Office based. This role offers exceptional on-target earnings potential within a collaborative sales-driven environment.
What you’ll do as a Portfolio Manager
- Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, executing a range of products including FX hedging, lending, payments and cash management. Upsell Ebury’s broad product capabilities to deliver a best-in-class client proposition.
- Collaborate with a large, successful sales team to assist in business origination. Understand clients’ business environments, strategies, and industries to provide the best solution using Ebury’s product suite.
- Know and understand the competition’s capabilities and gaps to better position Ebury’s Banking solutions.
- Deliver on dealer-specific KPIs, including repeat and new business revenues, reducing client churn, upselling/cross-selling multiple products, and increasing wallet-share.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through meetings, presenting ideas, proposals, and updates to clients in a confident and professional manner.
- Expand existing business and provide feedback to technology and product managers.
- Originate new business via networking with existing clients for referrals.
What you’ll need
- Strong Financial Services experience in a sales or relationship management role. An established network of contacts is a distinct advantage.
- Experience of working in an established FX institution and/or commercial bank, or selling other financial instruments to SMEs and corporate clients.
- Solid understanding of relevant compliance requirements.
- Academic background in Business or Finance is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to win commitment and buy-in.
- Sophisticated technical ability; statistical/fundamental analysis and risk management practices.
- Proven track record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities (upselling, cross-selling, new client acquisition).
- Skilled negotiator, able to build and leverage relationships at senior levels.
- Fluency in Italian and strong business-level English.
