As Portfolio & Demand Manager, you are accountable for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of the Departmental program/project portfolio. You are responsible for interaction with functional/business unit leadership to monitor and execute the project(s)/demand(s).

How You´ll Make An Impact

  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing program/project portfolio in coordination with internal or 3rd party project execution resources.
  • Responsible for maintaining and reporting on the end-to-end pipeline of IT projects and demand. Interacts with functional/business unit stakeholders to monitor and manage the portfolio that aligns with the overall Hitachi Energy IT PPM business objectives and priorities.
  • Management methodology: Responsible for selecting the right tools, configuring and rolling out IT PM tools, and ensuring adequate support and training. Responsible for maintaining reporting standards for IT projects and defining IT Project Management Methodology process measures.
  • Drives IT Project Management disciplines through education, collaboration, and continuous process improvement. Maintains the IT Project Management Framework documents and repositories. Raises organizational awareness around IT Project Management by providing training and guidance to enforce its execution. Develops an Agile coaching strategy to improve team delivery effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develops and ensures that the IT Project Management framework is robust, based on industry best practices and standards, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Defines, maintains, and coaches the Gate Model for IT. Consults on the best use of methodology.

Your background

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Portfolio Management within a global organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to various stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
