Description
As Portfolio & Demand Manager, you are accountable for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of the Departmental program/project portfolio. You are responsible for interaction with functional/business unit leadership to monitor and execute the project(s)/demand(s).

How you'll make an impact

1. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the program/project portfolio in coordination with internal or third-party project execution resources.
2. Responsible for maintaining and reporting on the end-to-end pipeline of IT projects and demands. Interacts with functional/business unit stakeholders to monitor and manage the portfolio that aligns with Hitachi Energy IT PPM business objectives and priorities.
3. Management methodology: Responsible for selecting the right tools, configuring and rolling out IT project management tools, and ensuring proper support and training. Defines IT Project Management Methodology process measures.
4. Drives IT Project Management disciplines through education, collaboration, and continuous process improvement. Maintains IT Project Management Framework documents and repositories. Raises awareness around IT Project Management by providing training and guidance. Implements an Agile coaching strategy to improve delivery effectiveness and efficiency.
5. Develops and ensures that the IT Project Management framework is robust, aligned with industry best practices and standards, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
6. Defines, maintains, and coaches the Gate Model for IT. Provides consultation on optimal methodology use.
