Our Mission

We are looking for an experienced Marketing and Communication Financial Controller to lead our finance department's focus on marketing and communication investments. The successful candidate will be an expert in ROI analysis and adept at meticulous budget management. You will play a key role in optimizing marketing spend to drive company growth and ensuring that each dollar spent is accountable and strategically allocated.

  1. Develop and manage the comprehensive budget for all marketing and communication activities, ensuring that funds are allocated efficiently and effectively.
  2. Conduct in-depth ROI analysis for all marketing campaigns, evaluating performance against financial objectives, and making actionable recommendations.
  3. Create and maintain financial models to forecast the outcomes of marketing initiatives and assess their profitability.
  4. Establish robust systems and processes for tracking marketing expenditures and their corresponding returns with precision and accuracy.
  5. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives, design appropriate financial tracking mechanisms, and report on financial performance.
  6. Provide detailed and comprehensive financial reporting on marketing and communication initiatives to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  7. Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and performance optimization within the marketing budget.
  8. Leverage financial insights to influence and shape marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader financial goals.
  9. Act as the financial gatekeeper for marketing and communication expenditures, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
  10. Guide the marketing team in understanding the financial impact of their strategies and practices, fostering a culture of financial accountability.

Who you are

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a specialty in Marketing Finance is advantageous.
  2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in a finance role with a strong emphasis on marketing and communication budgeting and ROI analysis.
  3. Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting with a focus on marketing investments.
  4. Proven track record of successfully managing marketing budgets and providing insightful financial analysis to drive business decisions.
  5. Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  6. Strong knowledge of financial principles and marketing metrics.
  7. Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial planning software, and familiarity with marketing analytics tools.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to relay complex financial data to non-financial audiences.
  9. Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
