Poltrona Frau Spa in Tolentino (Macerata) seeks a quality professional to join the team. You will participate in APQP activities, manage launch-phase issues, and coordinate metrology for new products. Travel may be required.

Fluent English and a degree in Mechanical or Management Engineering are required; automotive experience is preferred. You will support PPAP documentation, coordinate customer portals, and liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure high quality at every stage.

Mansioni

• Participate in APQP activities and communicate customer requirements to the project team, suppliers and production.
• Manage issues related to projects in the launch phase.
• Coordinate metrology activities (3D scanning and/or measurements) for new products.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of PPAP documentation for customers; support SQE in monitoring supplier PPAP.
• Coordinate customer visits and audits; monitor customer quality performance metrics (PPM, cost of poor quality).
• Liaise with key clients to manage action plans and coordinate departments for corrective actions per Gantt timelines.
• Support Engineering in drafting PFMEAs and developing PFMEA-based process controls.
• Manage customer claims and compile 8D reports; communicate feedback internally and to suppliers.
• Prepare Quality Books for projects during launch in collaboration with Process Quality, Engineering and R&D.

As part of the Quality team at Poltrona Frau in Motion, the position contributes to the delivery of unique and highly sophisticated interior solutions for luxury automobiles, premium-class airline cabins, and yachts.

The position reports to the Customer Quality Manager.

Main activities

• Participating in the development team's APQP activities for assigned projects, communicating customer requirements to the project team, suppliers, and production
• Managing issues related to projects in the launch phase
• Coordinating metrology activities (3D scanning and/or measurements using checking fixtures) for products being launched
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of PPAP documentation for customers and supporting the SQE function in monitoring supplier PPAP
• Coordinating customer visits and audits
• Monitoring metrics related to customer quality performance (PPM), external cost of poor quality, and the status of customer-specific improvement plans
• Monitoring and managing OEM customer portals
• Liaise with key clients to manage action plans and coordinate the departments involved in implementing corrective actions in accordance with Gantt chart timelines
• Support the Engineering department in drafting and updating PFMEAs
• Develop process control plans based on PFMEA inputs
• Manage customer claims, conduct problem-solving activities, and compile 8D reports, communicating customer feedback both internally and to suppliers
• Prepare Quality Books for individual projects during the launch phase, in collaboration with the Process Quality, Engineering, and R&D departments

Education & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical or Management Engineering
• Experience in Quality and in dealing with automotive industry clients (preferred)
• Fluent English

Technical & Soft Skills

• Knowledge of UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 standards
• Statistical techniques and Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods
• Measurement System Analysis (MSA) methodologies
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Knowledge of the APQP/PPAP process; knowledge of VDA MLA is a plus
• Knowledge of key quality tools for problem-solving (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys)

Conditions

The position offers a employee classification with a gross annual salary of €30-33.000 in line with CCNL Legno Arredo Industria collective agreement. The compensation range indicated in this job posting represents an estimated average range for the position. The final remuneration will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, in accordance with applicable EU pay transparency and pay equity requirements.
