GE Aerospace (Avio Aero) seeks a PLM Technical Product Analyst to lead CAD/PLM platforms across military programs. You will shape best practices, map business needs to technical solutions, and coordinate with engineering teams in Italy, Poland and the Czech Republic.

You will apply Agile and SAFe to deliver on time, drive R&D planning, and manage lifecycle, obsolescence, and investments in software products within a global engineering environment.

Competenze

  • Master's degree required in a technical field.
  • Proven PLM software depth in a complex, global environment.
  • Experience on PLM-related projects is essential.
  • Ability to operate with uncertainty and deliver value.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for cross-site collaboration.
  • Fluency in Italian and English; valid work visa per local rules.

Job Description Summary

As PLM Technical Product Analyst you will be part of the Digital Technology team, acting as a Technical Product Analyst for engineering software. You will be implementing new projects for CAD/PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems and you will be responsible to define CAD/PLM best practices and methodologies.

You will work on military programs, delivering digital solutions that will enable the Avio Aero Engineering team to create, manage and consume restricted and non-restricted data across the entire lifecycle of the products.

You will partner with stakeholders across all the Avio Aero's sites in Italy, Poland and Czech Republic, but also in the other European facilities.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
  • Own and manage CAD/PLM software products to enable and support the implementation of NPI/NTI programs for military applications
  • Manage Product lifecycle and obsolescence, develop and present business cases for investments in technologies and software products in your domain
  • Participate actively in planning research and development activities
  • Act as the team liaison with the Engineering community, proactively engaging them to ensure proper support
  • Elaborate and map business requirements into functional and technical solutions
  • Work closely with implementation teams to drive developments on CAD/PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) platforms
  • Interact with international, cross-business and cross-functional Agile teams to deliver global solutions for the Engineering teams
  • Establish strong relationships with DT counterparts across the org, Europe and US based
  • Apply the Agile methodology and the SAFE framework to deliver solutions on time and on cost
  • Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas
Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • Proven technical depth on Computer Aided Systems and Product Lifecycle Management Platforms in a complex, multi-disciplinary, globally distributed environment
  • Demonstrated industry experience on PLM-related projects
  • Comfortable in uncertainty, able to deliver when guidelines are blurry
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in geographically sparse cross-functional teams
  • Able to adjust communication (e.g. level of complexity) to align with audience, to use relevant and appropriate presentation techniques, to respond to questions and to dissent in a constructive manner.
  • Fluent Italian and English
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired Qualifications
  • Technical depth and experience on Siemens or PTC PLM technologies/solutions
  • Proven expertise on 3D modeling of mechanical components in Siemens NX or similar software
  • Expertise on data governance in the PLM domain, in particular related to International Trade Compliance, IP protection and levels of military classification
  • Able to ensure group understanding of issues and to present rationale to affect outcomes. Able to resolve conflicting opinions through consensus
  • Demonstrated ability to use appropriate facilitation techniques to gain agreement or move others to action

Salary range for this role

34.950,00 - 52.425,00 EUR Annual + Performance-related bonus + PDR up to 6000 euro

Compensation will be defined within the published salary range, reflecting the candidate’s experience, developed skills, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
