We are looking for a skilled PLC Programmer with at least 3 years of experience in the industrial materials manufacturing sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for commissioning industrial systems, particularly focusing on the Siemens (TIA Portal) and Rockwell platforms. The role requires travel both in Italy and internationally, with a commissioning phase lasting approximately 6 months (3 months in Italy and 3 months abroad).

Key Responsibilities

• Program and configure PLC systems, primarily using Siemens (TIA Portal) and Rockwell platforms, ensuring the functionality and efficiency of the systems.
• Manage commissioning activities on industrial plants, with a focus on system integration, testing, and troubleshooting during both the initial setup and the final operational phase.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to oversee the successful startup and commissioning of systems, ensuring full operational readiness.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the entire commissioning process, addressing any technical issues or deviations from project specifications.
• Document all commissioning procedures and results, creating detailed reports for both internal and client use.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards throughout the commissioning process.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience programming and configuring PLCs in the industrial materials manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC systems (TIA Portal) and Rockwell PLC systems, with proven experience in these platforms.
• In-depth understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and process optimization.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel extensively, with the ability to spend 3 months in Italy and 3 months abroad for commissioning assignments.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams across various locations.
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is preferred.
