Electrical PLC Programmer

We are seeking an Electrical PLC Programmer to join our team at IMI Remosa in Cagliari, Sardinia.

The ideal candidate is passionate about programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC systems.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a well-structured, high-level company, applying electrical engineering principles, working with hydraulic systems and control technologies, and gaining international travel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for electro-hydraulic systems
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues with PLC software and hardware
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to integrate PLC systems smoothly
  • Prepare technical documentation for production (manufacturing, testing, assembly) and for customers or third parties according to project requirements
  • Provide technical support and training to staff and clients when needed
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety rules
  • Perform field service work in different locations worldwide

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

  • High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
  • Minimum experience in PLC programming
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and control technologies
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed
