As a Platform Engineer, you will be crucial in enhancing the reliability and scalability of our financial platform and APIs.
What you will do
- Design and operate high-quality, well-monitored systems with a focus on automation and failure resilience, catering to both engineers and non-engineers.
- Create a compliant, user-friendly platform with self-service tools.
- Implement new features using cutting-edge technologies.
- Balance frequent releases with system reliability and security, working with stakeholders to set and maintain SLOs and SLAs.
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance and safeguard our merchants' and clients' funds.
- Design and implement shared cluster compute topology within our cloud infrastructure.
- Develop a cost attribution system for cloud and infrastructure services.
What you need
- 3 to 6 years experience in infrastructure or platform engineering.
- Experience with any Cloud PaaS; Google Cloud Platform experience is a plus.
- Expertise in HashiCorp Terraform and infrastructure as code principles.
- Experience automating, building, and maintaining systems to minimize downtime.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Experience managing large-scale applications in complex environments.
- Proficiency in high-level languages like Go or Python.
- Comfort with Linux systems and shell scripting.
