As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing the reliability and scalability of our financial platform and APIs.
What will you be doing
- Ensuring quality and well-designed user experiences for both engineers and non-engineers by operating and monitoring systems, designing for failure, and automating processes.
- Building a compliant, user-friendly platform with self-service tools.
- Adding new features to the platform using cutting-edge technologies.
- Balancing frequent deployments with maintaining high system reliability and security, working with stakeholders to set and meet SLOs and SLAs.
- Engaging with auditors to ensure compliance and safeguard our merchants' and clients' funds.
- Designing and implementing a shared cluster compute topology within our cloud infrastructure.
- Developing a cost attribution system for our cloud and infrastructure services.
What you have
- 3 to 6 years of experience as an engineer in infrastructure or platform roles.
- Experience with any Cloud PaaS is essential; experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Expertise in HashiCorp Terraform and infrastructure as code principles.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining automation systems that reduce downtime.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Experience managing large-scale applications in complex environments.
- Knowledge of high-level programming languages such as Go or Python.
- Familiarity with Linux systems and shell scripting.
