As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in improving the reliability and scalability of our financial platform and APIs.

What will you be doing

• Ensuring quality and well-designed user experiences for engineers and non-engineers alike, involving system operation, monitoring, designing for failure, and automation.
• Building a compliant and user-friendly platform, exposed through self-service tools.
• Adding new features to the platform using cutting-edge technologies.
• Balancing frequent shipping with maintaining system reliability and security, working with stakeholders to set and maintain SLOs and SLAs.
• Engaging with auditors to ensure compliance and safeguard merchants' and clients' funds.
• Designing and implementing shared cluster compute topology within our Cloud Infrastructure.
• Developing a cost attribution system covering cloud and infrastructure services.

What you have

• 3 to 6 years of experience as an engineer in infrastructure or platform roles.
• Experience with any Cloud PaaS is essential; experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Proficiency in HashiCorp Terraform and understanding of infrastructure as code principles.
• Experience automating systems and tools to minimize downtime.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience managing large-scale applications in complex environments.
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages like Go or Python.
• Familiarity with Linux systems and shell scripting.
