Epta Group is seeking a Plant Quality Manager at the Casale Monferrato site to lead the quality function for 500 staff and multiple product lines. You will drive continuous improvement, oversee audits, and ensure adherence to QMS and ISO standards while collaborating with customers, suppliers, and headquarters.

The role demands 7+ years of leadership in manufacturing quality, strong problem-solving, and hands-on experience with SAP and MS Office.

Competenze

• 7+ years in quality management leadership within manufacturing
• Experience leading teams and driving quality improvement programs
• Strong knowledge of QMS, audits, root cause analysis, and CI methodologies
• Experience with supplier and customer quality and KPI management
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
• Fluent in Italian and good command of English
• Proficiency with SAP and MS Office
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to travel in Italy and internationally

Lead Quality in a Plant That Serves Global Brands

We're looking for a Plant Quality Manager to lead the Quality function at our Casale Monferrato manufacturing plant, a site of approximately 500 employees that produces plug-in refrigerated cabinets, commercial refrigeration solutions, and vending equipment for leading Food & Beverage brands and major retailers worldwide.

This is an exciting moment to join us. The plant is undergoing a significant transformation, with a new production layout and new machinery being introduced, creating an opportunity for a quality leader to drive continuous improvement and help shape the future of manufacturing excellence.

Your Impact

As Plant Quality Manager, you will be the voice of the customer within the factory and the reference point for all quality-related activities across the site.

You will:

• Lead and develop a team of 10 quality professionals covering incoming goods inspection, production quality, laboratory testing, and customer claims management
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, ISO standards, and certification requirements
• Drive improvements in quality KPIs, customer satisfaction, and supplier performance
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, PDCA, and CAPA
• Manage customer complaints and collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and HQ
• Plan and lead internal and external audits
• Define quality standards, controls, and risk mitigation strategies
• Manage the quality budget and monitor quality-related costs
• Support process optimization, operational excellence, and manufacturing innovation initiatives

What We're Looking For

• At least 7 years of experience in a Quality Management leadership role within a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience managing teams and driving quality improvement programs
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience with supplier quality, customer quality, and quality KPI management
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background
• Fluent Italian and good command of English
• Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Availability to travel within Italy and internationally

At Epta, we offer a transparent and competitive compensation package aligned with the applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL - Metalworking).

• CCNL level: B3/A1
• Base salary: From €35,000 gross per year. The final offer will be determined using objective, gender-neutral criteria applied consistently across all candidates, including verified professional experience, relevant technical competencies, and the confirmed scope and responsibilities of the role.
