The Plant and Production Manager oversees daily plant operations and production schedules, ensuring policies and procedures are followed to optimize safety, quality, productivity, and profitability. This role requires a strong leader with an agile and entrepreneurial mindset to drive continuous improvement and innovation, providing clear direction and engaging the team to meet goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enhance profitable operation of the plant
2. Lead day-to-day operations and ensure on-time shipping
3. Increase production efficiency while minimizing costs
4. Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance
5. Ensure plant safety and sustainability
6. Implement strategic initiatives
7. Recruit, manage, and develop plant staff
8. Coordinate and expedite work and materials flow
9. Communicate production schedules and status to stakeholders
10. Support continuous improvement efforts with an agile approach
11. Foster an entrepreneurial culture to drive innovation and efficiency
12. Provide clear direction and engage the team to achieve objectives
13. Promote teamwork and positive employee relations with plant staff
14. Develop and execute plant budget, and work with finance to develop and monitor KPIs
15. Support growth objectives of company and business unit
