Descrizione del lavoro

Manages the overall operation of the plant accordingly to strategies and policies of the company

Establishes and achieves short- and long-term objectives and the overall viability of the organization, in order to produce customer orders in compliance with safety, quality, costs and deadlines.

Leads the day-to-day activities within a plant to achieve the short and medium-term financial and operating objectives set by the overall organization business plan.

Advises on strategic and highly complex projects and provides necessary support to ensure the successful implementation of plant initiatives, as well as all new product introduction and process improvement projects.

Follow-up of investments and monitoring of financial results

Relations :

• Reports to the "Operations leader Italy"
• Interacts frequently with internal contacts at all levels of the plant to foster and promote a diverse and inclusive work environment, high levels of morale, and high employee engagement.
• Represents the plant leadership with external contacts.
• Collaboration and partnership with different departments such as :

Human resources,

Quality,

Manufacturing engineering,

Logistics,

Production

As well as all the employees of the site

Responsibilities :

Responsible for the results of a production site : Safety, financial, on-time delivery, maintenance of quality levels, operational productivity and the establishment of the capacity of manufacturing processes aligned with customer demands

Responsible for Safety and Environment

Responsible for the production of the units

Responsible for the supply chain part : order book management, material management and unit shipments to customers

Responsible for manufacturing methods and processes as well as continuous improvement

Ensure and organize :

The management of a team of managers related to the activity of a production site

Employee safety and health

Identification and implementation of environmental projects

Monitoring of quality indicators

Development of plant policies and procedures and guidance on their implementation.

The implementation of Lean indicators

Monitoring the order book and adjusting the workforce

Daily monitoring of production results in terms of costs, quality and deadlines

Regular reporting as required per company standards

Identification and follow-up of continuous process improvement projects in alignment with transformation and investment plans

Follow-up of new product introduction projects

Qualifications :

Proficiency in Windchill, Oracle R12, MES and office pack (excel, powerpoint, word)

Knowledge of ERP, PLM tools and their general functioning

Knowledge of the order cycle and the different impacts at each stage

Fluency in English and Italian

In-depth knowledge of Lean tools

Product knowledge

Knowledge of manufacturing processes

Knowledge of Quality processes

Knowledge of Informatic Systems

Very good interpersonal skills with good communication and listening skills
