Job Description

• Develop the layout of systems and equipment for upgrade and retrofit proposals and execution projects.
• Prepare, update, and check various plans such as layout, load tables, construction data, steel construction, platforms, ducting, piping, and component drawings.
• Incorporate and check drawings from external and internal suppliers.
• Ensure the exchange of all required layout data with the project team, consortium partners, and engineering service providers.
• Attend internal and external meetings as necessary to review models.
• Serve as the contact person in the project team for all layout-related issues in the assigned area.
• Ensure maintainability, accessibility, and constructability studies are conducted in the assigned area.

Qualifications

• Very good knowledge of Aveva E3D (former PDMS) and MS Office; knowledge of Navisworks and AutoCAD is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in plant/layout design of (power) plants (power, oil & gas, industrial) or equivalent, regarding structural and mechanical designs, piping routing, and equipment/systems arrangement.
• At least 3 years of experience in creating layout concepts of complete plants, technical risk assessment, and providing solutions.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
• Autonomous, solution-driven, and persuasive personality.
