Job Overview

The Plant Engineer will be responsible for all engineering activities related to capital projects, focusing on equipment reliability and plant investments. The role demands appropriate education, training, skills, and experience to ensure flawless project development and execution.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide engineering support to the plant in areas such as safety, mechanical, and process engineering.
2. Oversee permitted activities within the plant.
3. Lead or participate in team meetings for continuous improvement initiatives, such as Grease Team and Bottle Line, providing engineering support as needed.
4. Manage capital projects using the OIMS System 3.1 in line with MPG standards.
5. Participate in SHE committee meetings.
6. Manage projects for capital investments, ensuring timely execution.
7. Suggest continuous improvement opportunities to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager.
8. Track costs and oversee budgets for capital projects.
9. Assess manufacturing technologies to enhance safety and productivity.
10. Ensure all engineering practices comply with environmental, health, safety programs, and regulatory standards.
11. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, codes, and standards, including the operation integrity management system (OIMS).
12. Ensure adherence to the Controls Integrity Management System (CIMS) and Data Integrity Assurance Framework.
13. Collaborate with global engineering advisors to implement manufacturing best practices in process and technology.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, Chemical, or related fields.
2. Knowledge of Lube Plant operations.
3. Experience in plant manufacturing.
4. Strong interpersonal and people skills.
5. Mechanical knowledge and skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Effective communication skills.
8. Project management capabilities.
9. Familiarity with basic engineering administrative practices.
10. Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
