PLANT ENGINEER

The Plant Engineer will join the Global Real Estate, Physical Security, Facility & Energy Management Department, within the Global Engineering, Asset Management & Strategic Project Department.

He/She will report functionally and hierarchically to the HQ Facility Manager.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Draft preliminary plans for new activities, develop feasibility studies, define budgets and timelines for mechanical, electrical, or plumbing (MEP) projects.
  2. Coordinate consultants and contractors, oversee work progress, control budgets, and manage project accounting.
  3. Collaborate with other departments to draft contracts and manage intervention budgets.
  4. Verify onsite the correct execution of works in technical and economic terms, ensuring compliance with timelines and safety standards, and manage deviations and complaints.
  5. Assist in drafting annual budgets for maintenance and investments related to MEP systems to improve company assets.
  6. Define technical specifications and prepare bills of quantities for project tenders.
  7. Produce technical and economic reports related to work execution.
  8. Monitor maintenance status of civil and industrial properties’ MEP systems, using SAP PM to manage schedules and inspections.
  9. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and mandatory knowledge of AutoCAD (2D) or similar software.
  10. Additional certifications related to MEP systems and SAP PM knowledge are considered a plus.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  1. Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  2. 1-3 years of experience in engineering consultancy, technical departments of banks, CDMO companies, or retail/large-scale distribution—experience in industrial or pharmaceutical sectors is a plus.
  3. Fluent in spoken and written English.
  4. Flexibility, initiative, interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, meticulousness, and respect for deadlines are essential. The candidate should be optimistic, jovial, and eager to participate in challenges.
