Job Description

THE COMPANY

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Plant Director / Process Industry professional.

General Purpose of the Position:

Reporting to the COO, the main responsibility is to plan, organize, coordinate, and control the manufacturing activities of the production plant. The goal is to deliver the expected production volume and quality by optimizing the utilization of people, materials, and equipment, while achieving EHS, quality, service, and cost objectives.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Optimization and development of procurement strategies.
  2. Valuation, development, and improvement of the supply chain.
  3. Solving quality critical issues.
  4. Cost controlling.
  5. Making short and long-term decisions related to production activities, including scheduling, procurement, flow regulation, problem-solving, and equipment maintenance.
  6. Reviewing all production deliverables and evaluating operating performance (team skills, productivity, costs), according to production planning, and optimizing productivity capacity (equipment and resources).
  7. Coordinating with other departments to meet productivity and quality objectives.
  8. Setting standard deliverables and reporting strategies, and cooperating with departments such as Process Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, HR, and EHS to achieve Operational Excellence.
Requirements:
  1. Master's degree in Science or Engineering preferred.
  2. Strong experience in Production.
  3. Fluent in English.
  4. Ability to manage complexity with a positive, proactive, target, and business-oriented approach.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with different cultures and levels.
