  • The individual will report to the VP of Operations Meal Solutions Europe & VP of Manufacturing Strategy and will directly manage a team of 7 people.

Objective of the position

Ensure the production of products according to quality standards and recipes defined. Guarantee the production volumes established and oversee the maintenance/development of the plant's assets, leading and coordinating functions reporting to the position, optimizing the use of resources and means assigned, establishing and achieving investments, production, and maintenance goals in connection with headquarters structures and in compliance with regulations related to quality, safety, and environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Contribute to the company's planning process by supporting the development of medium-term plans for the plant, defining capex and cost structure in terms of transformation and personnel costs. Ensure systematic monitoring of plant performance, identifying and interpreting variances between budget and actual results, in line with company objectives and guidelines set by your supervisor.
  2. Continuously monitor performance parameters of the plant through technical/operational reports, result analyses, and proposing targeted actions to optimize transformation costs.
  3. Develop short-term production plans, including raw material, personnel, and energy utilization plans based on overall quantitative plans defined by Group Supply Chain, aiming to optimize production targets according to your supervisor.
  4. Ensure the achievement of defined production volumes aligned with schedules and quality standards by organizing activities and resources, defining short-term scheduling details, and optimizing process costs—deadlines, machinery, resources used—monitoring results and intervening in case of deviations, in line with medium-term objectives and needs.
  5. Guarantee product quality according to set standards and reduce out-of-standard products through optimal raw material procurement, process control, and analysis, and gradually reducing waste in line with company directives.
  6. Develop and continuously improve machinery and production lines, in accordance with required production capacity and business evolution, identifying and suggesting technical intervention needs to your supervisor and technical area, optimizing installations, and supervising investments related to set objectives.
  7. Ensure availability, reliability, and safety of the plant's structure, areas, and equipment through maintenance planning and execution, involving external specialized resources if necessary, in accordance with internal procedures, existing regulations, and budget constraints.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and safety systems regulations, evaluating the implementation of operational rules and procedures, informing employees, providing protective equipment, ensuring health surveillance, and implementing development plans aligned with Group objectives.
  9. Manage labor relations by maintaining positive relationships and negotiating decisions with significant organizational impact, in line with Group policies.
  10. Handle external communications about plant activities, managing relations with authorities and local organizations according to regulations and received mandates.
  11. Manage personnel and staff, promoting career growth based on professional skills, ensuring organizational behaviors and performances align with Group standards and targets.
