Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Main Roles and Responsibilities
  • The role of the Plant Controller is to manage the controlling of a plant to guarantee and optimize its financial performance and competitiveness. Main missions include:
  • Ensuring compliance with all financial procedures
  • Developing, executing, and controlling internal finance procedures, including spending authorization, in accordance with Group policies
  • Ensuring site activities comply with Faurecia finance-related procedures and internal controls
  • Managing financial risks for the site and proper escalation
  • Providing reliable financial/controlling information in collaboration with operational and support functions
  • Leading financial forecasting processes (budget, periodic forecast, monthly closing)
  • Managing reporting processes to ensure reliability, transparency, and timeliness
  • Ensuring the accuracy of standard costing
  • Providing controlling analysis such as variance analysis, margin/programs analysis, plant budget control, and follow-up of sales and purchasing prices
  • Collaborating with Shared Service Centers to obtain and validate finance information
  • Controlling and managing the plant’s operating cash flow (capex, inventories, overdues)
  • Supporting internal and external audits and compliance with local authorities
  • Controlling and managing the plant’s balance sheet with stakeholders
  • Participating in Business Plan validation and ensuring consistency with financial data
  • Monitoring program startup and analyzing variances against business plans
  • Participating in post-audit activities and tracking convergence plans
  • Monitoring and escalating gaps in VCM from G4 to SOP
  • Acting as a business partner to plant management and providing recommendations
  • Developing action plans with management to improve operational and financial performance
  • Tracking the financial impact of action plans
  • Promoting financial awareness among plant operational teams
  • Managing and developing the controlling team
  • Adhering to ethical standards and Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Management
Your profile and competencies to succeed

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 10 years of experience in a similar financial role
  • Business School or Engineering background with a Finance degree or Master’s in Finance
  • Familiarity with industrial information systems and flows
  • Strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and confidentiality
  • Business mindset and teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • People development capabilities
  • Fluency in English
