Description:
We are looking for a trainee with a background inPlant Biology, Botany, or a related field, who shows a strong interest in understandingplant stress factorsand training advancedplant-driven systems. The trainee collaborates with the research team to document, analyze, and support the development of automated systems that respond to plant stress signals, helping advance precision agriculture technologies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Currently studying or recently graduated from a program inPlant Biology, Botany, or a related field.
  • Strong interest inplant stress physiologyand automation in agriculture.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability todocument and interpret plant responsesfor system training.

Daily Tasks:

  • Assist the research team instudying stress conditionsfor plants (e.g., drought, extreme temperature, pest exposure) and documenting their effects on plant health.
  • Analyze plant responsesto stress factors and contribute to the creation of aplant stress database.
  • Collaborate with theAI and imaging teamto observe and documentvisible plant stress indicatorsin real-time images, contributing to the refinement of the plant-driven system.
  • Assist in thetraining of the plant-driven system, ensuring it responds effectively to different plant stress signals by feeding data into the system.
  • Help maintain and monitor plants under controlled stress conditions to ensure accurate data for system development.
