Reports To : Head of the European Project Development Department
The company develops, finances, builds and operates renewable energy projects across a diverse portfolio, including solar, wind and energy storage solutions, with a strong track record and a growing presence across Europe. In Italy, we currently manage a portfolio of 20 projects, with ~1.6 GWh of energy storage capacity, spanning solar PV, wind, and battery storage technologies.
We are seeking an experienced, strategic and results-oriented Director to lead and manage the execution of our growing project pipeline in Italy. This senior role will be responsible for all aspects of project development in Italy starting upon investment decision and until the projects reach the ready-to-build (RTB) status, including : permitting, interconnection, land, off-take, etc. The Director will manage a team of four project managers, oversee collaboration with local development partners and consultants, and serve as the primary interface with authorities, key stakeholders, and the company headquarters.
Lead execution of its utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar PV, wind, storage) pipeline across Italy from post-origination to ready-to-build.
At least 15 years of experience in renewable energy project development in Italy, with a proven record in large-scale or utility-scale projects.
