Descrizione del lavoro

You will be responsible for demand planning and logistics, and you will lead our Customer Service team for the Italian Market.

We have strong international brands, including Biscoff and Natural Food, operating across multiple categories and channels. We are a fast-growing, dynamic international company.

Your responsibilities include demand planning and logistics for the Sales Office Italy. In the future, customer service will also be part of your duties.

Your main tasks will include:

  1. Updating forecast plans in collaboration with sales and aligning with HQ Belgium.
  2. Improving the Italian forecasting system, integrating international guidelines in close collaboration with sales.
  3. Placing production orders and managing stock levels.
  4. Tracking and communicating order status to Sales and/or the Account Team.
  5. Arranging delivery and inbound transport for different product groups.
  6. Maintaining contact with warehouses to prevent and resolve shipment issues.
  7. Negotiating contracts with logistic service providers and managing service levels.

On the customer service side, you will manage and coach the current team, whose tasks include order processing, invoicing, and organizing delivery. These are primary responsibilities of the customer service assistants, and both functions will work as a team.

  1. Booking and processing incoming orders, issuing invoices and order confirmations.
  2. Maintaining, accounting, and documenting condition agreements.
  3. Gathering relevant information, issuing shipping documents, and sharing them with customers and partners.
  4. Maintaining customer master data, hierarchies, prices, and conditions in SAP.

This role, combining demand planning and customer service, is key to implementing and coordinating the commercial office operations in Italy.

Experience:

  • First experience as a people manager.
  • SAP experience is recommended, as it is the main system used for customer service.

  • Italian (required)
  • English (for alignment with HQ Belgium)
