Overview

Join to apply for the Planner Engineer- Taranto role at Vestas.

The department description: Supply Chain Operations is part of Vestas' growing and evolving Service Business Unit. The department runs our warehouse operations, the backbone of our supply chain, in our Mediterranean (MED) sales business unit. Our MED Warehousing & Operations team supports the business by securing timely availability and reliability on delivery of spares, main components, and tools. We are looking for a Production Planner to be mainly in charge of the operations in Italy and provide support to a different region if needed.

Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will possess effective leadership skills to coordinate Supply Chain activities up to the shipment of finished goods. You will be responsible for planning production activities and ensuring 100% on-time delivery to customers.
• The Production Planner will work weekly with Supply Chain Global Planning to share production performance updates and evaluate potential issues and solutions to ensure the efficient completion of sales projects. You will also be responsible for reviewing and adjusting the production plan to accommodate changes in sales projects while maintaining an optimal flow and inventory level of raw materials.
• This position is located in TARANTO office.

Qualifications

• University Degree (Management Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or similar)
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of prior experience in a similar role
• Fluency in English

Competencies

• Proficiency with enterprise systems such as SAP/APRISO
• In-depth knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
• Solid leadership, communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with comprehensive data analysis and reporting skills
• Solid understanding of industrial processes
• Proficient time management, task prioritization, and attention to detail
• Experienced collaborative worker
