Tecnimont, a MAIRE flagship company, seeks a Layout & Piping Mechanical Critical Application Specialist to join the Layout & Piping Department within the Engineering, Technology and Research & Development Division. You’ll contribute to the mechanical analysis and design of critical piping components, systems, and pipe supports.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, expertise with CAESAR II/NozzlePRO/ANSYS, and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams on high-pressure/temperature

Competenze

• Degree in mechanical engineering or technical diploma.
• 10+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and analysis for piping.
• Experience with high pressure/high temperature and complex piping geometries.

Mansioni

• Performing advanced mechanical analyses and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of critical piping components, piping systems, and pipe supports.
• Conducting engineering calculations for piping systems under critical conditions, including high pressure and temperature.
• Analyzing systems subject to cyclic service, creep conditions, or other demanding operating scenarios.
• Assessing large-diameter piping and components outside standard ANSI/ASME dimensions.
• Evaluating piping systems and components under high loads or complex geometries.
• Performing mechanical analyses of piping connections to critical equipment.
• Developing and verifying technical solutions for critical pipe supports per project requirements.
• Using CAESAR II, NozzlePRO, and ANSYS for piping and mechanical calculations.
• Interpreting international codes and standards related to piping component design.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coherent critical piping solutions.
