Job summary

Bonatti is seeking a Planner/Quantity Surveyor for a pipeline project in central Italy. The role emphasizes managing quantities from initial calculations through final figures to minimize costs and maximize value, while ensuring quality standards.

You will interpret drawings, contracts, and the scope of work, with a background in civil, mechanical, or construction engineering. On-site availability and proficiency with Excel and project management tools are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience as Quantity Surveyor.
• Background in Construction, Design, and Engineering works; ability to interpret drawings, contracts, and scope of works.
• Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Construction).
• Knowledge of Excel and Construction Management System.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and software for Drafting and 3D Modeling would be an advantage.
• Availability to work on site, at the construction site.

Responsibilities

• Manage quantities from initial calculations to final figures to minimize costs and maximize value.
• Exercise control function on quantities and progress of the project.
• Interact with foremen and supervisors to obtain information for correct measurement of progress.
• Prepare data for active and passive accounting.
