Our client, in the food and nutrition industry, is seeking a Machine Operator / Sanitation Technician (Food Sanitation) to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will support the quality and sanitary standards of the company and the FDA within the Food & Beverage department.

Location : Rome, GA

Shift Schedule : Multiple 12-hour shifts

What’s the Job?

  • Maintain control and documentation of sanitation chemicals and equipment.
  • Calculate and record % concentration of chemicals and perform titration tests.
  • Support plant production and quality efforts as directed by plant leadership.
  • Identify critical steps and instructions for effective implementation of the Food Safety Plan.
  • Assist with large-scale clean-up prior to audits and inspections.

What’s Needed?

  • High School diploma or equivalent; 18 years or older.
  • At least 6 months of manufacturing experience, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility.
  • Prior electric pallet jack operation experience and safety certification preferred.
  • Self-motivated and conscientious attitude.
  • Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills for solving mechanical problems.
