Sanofi is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Specialist for their VIE program based in Italy. The role involves maintaining safety management systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering good customer relations. Ideal candidates will have a Master’s Degree in a scientific field and at least two years of relevant experience.

About the program

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. Candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship. Applications must be submitted in English, and only those in English will be considered.

About the job

As a VIE, you will contribute to the Italian Pharmacovigilance (PV) team and local organization through projects and daily activities, performing PV tasks for Sanofi in Italy and Malta in accordance with local laws and company guidelines. You will establish and share knowledge of PV, including legal and company requirements, and maintain good customer relations.

Main responsibilities :

1. Serve as the Pharmacovigilance Specialist for Sanofi products.
2. Maintain Pharmacovigilance Operating & Safety Management systems.
3. Monitor incoming communication for Pharmacovigilance data and report them timely.
4. Ensure compliance with Pharmacovigilance requirements for global, regional, and local programs.
5. Identify issues or dysfunctions in the system.
6. Participate in PV education and training within the organization and contribute to compliance metrics.
7. Collaborate with in-country and regional teams for effective PV system management.

About you

Experience :

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role is highly preferred.

Skills :

• Knowledge of international and national pharmacovigilance regulations and industry standards.
• Sense of urgency and attention to detail, with high accuracy, organization, punctuality, and ability to prioritize tasks under time pressure.

Education :

Master’s Degree in a scientific field (Medical Doctor, Pharmacist, Health Sciences, Veterinarian, Biologist, or similar).

Languages :

Excellent command of English (medical terminology is a plus) and basic Italian skills (at least understanding).
