IQVIA is seeking an experienced Pharmacovigilance leader to head a growing PV function within the Lifecycle Safety team in Italy. You will manage a small PV group, oversee high-quality safety activities, liaise with clients and internal stakeholders, and drive compliance, process improvements and training.

This role offers visibility across projects and a chance to shape PV delivery while supporting business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Significant Pharmacovigilance experience within CRO/pharma/healthcare.
• Previous people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of European PV regulations and processes.
• Experience managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent English communication skills.

What we're looking for

• Significant experience in Pharmacovigilance within a CRO, pharmaceutical or healthcare environment
• Previous people management experience
• Strong knowledge of European pharmacovigilance regulations and processes
• Experience managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively and lead teams in a dynamic environment

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is 53 200,00 € - 79 800,00 €. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
