Job summary

Arithmos S.r.l. is seeking a Pharmacovigilance & Drug Safety Consulting Intern to support project delivery and the growth of our Pharmacovigilance Business Unit in Italy.

You will work with senior experts on pharma and biotech client initiatives, gaining hands-on exposure to consulting, pharmacovigilance, and business operations. The internship offers practical experience in regulatory and safety activities, with the chance to learn about industry trends, safety systems, and client deliverables

Qualifications

• Degree (or currently completing a degree) in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry and consulting environment.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support Pharmacovigilance consulting projects by assisting with day-to-day project activities and team initiatives.
• Help prepare project documentation, presentations, reports, and other client deliverables under supervision.
• Assist with process mapping exercises, data collection, and process improvement initiatives.
• Conduct research on pharmacovigilance regulations, industry trends, and new technologies, and summarize findings for the team.
• Gain exposure to safety systems such as Veeva Vault Safety and Oracle Argus Safety, supporting administrative and project activities as needed.
• Attend project meetings, take meeting notes, and help track actions and deadlines.
• Support market research activities, including gathering information on industry trends and potential business opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other commercial materials.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal knowledge resources, templates, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with colleagues across teams, gaining hands-on experience in consulting, pharmacovigilance, and business operations.
