Offer Description

The Ph.D. course is divided into 2 curricula:

1. System Engineering, Telecommunications and HW/SW platforms
2. Emerging computing models: algorithms, software architectures and intelligent systems

Admission Requirements: All Master-level Degrees or foreign degrees with certified equivalency or recognized as equivalent to the aforementioned qualifications.

Candidates expected to obtain the required Degrees by the enrollment deadline and before the Ph.D. programme’s start date may also apply.

The assessment involves two phases: qualification assessment and oral exam. Scores are out of 100 points:

• Qualification assessment: Max. 50 points based on CV, recommendation letters, publications, and other qualifications. Minimum to sit the oral exam is 30 points.
• Oral exam: Max. 50 points, including presentation of thesis and research project, evaluation of research aptitude, motivation, competencies, and English language skills. Applicants may choose to take the exam in English.
