PGP Sourcing Manager - Region South West (m / f / d)

What you will enjoy doing

  • You will manage strategically sales and purchases of gases for competitors and intercompany, promoting sales to competitors, balancing growth and margins to maximize Linde's benefits within a proper sourcing roadmap aligned with the sales organization.
  • Develop and implement a make vs buy strategy for key products and build/maintain the right purchasing contracts, proactively re-evaluating active contracts and updating & troubleshooting pricing with competitors.
  • Coordinate Inter-Company / Competitor transactions within the region and with other Regional Business Units.
  • Manage crisis supply coordination during plant shutdowns, through alignment meetings, documenting actions, quantifying impacts, and discussing alternatives with competitors and multi-country teams.
  • Lead cylinder exchange between business units to minimize capex spend, expand processes to EMEA, and support capex planning for PGP packages in Region South West (Iberia, France, Benelux, Switzerland, Italy, Algeria, Tunisia).
  • Support Business Units in Region South West with invoicing, generating and maintaining the annual Shopping Cart and Purchase Orders.
  • Assist in the BU Budget Process, combining purchase, sale, and transport data to provide accurate forecasts to FICO.
  • Take on new challenges and contribute to the company's digital transformation projects.
  • Collect, interpret, and utilize data to drive digital transformation initiatives.

What makes you great

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, complemented with Supply Chain education.
  • At least 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably within the industrial sector, with proficiency in planning and optimization tools.
  • Fluent in English and the regional language(s).
  • Strong analytical skills in procurement data, economic impact quantification, budget management, and cost allocation.
  • Knowledge of PGP Leadership & Change Management, ERP systems, and supply planning tools.
  • Proven ability to lead transformations, manage change, and execute projects with commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to influence across organizational levels.
  • Understanding of B2B product marketing, financial skills, and analytics for investment decision-making.
  • Technical and analytical competence to address challenges, analyze scenarios, and optimize decisions focusing on cost savings and value creation.
  • Experience managing projects end-to-end, ensuring results aligned with strategic goals.
