Position Description:

The purpose of the Sales Representative role in Elanco is to sell and create demand by delivering and demonstrating the value of Elanco Animal Health products to customers (vets & pet shops) and the people who influence their product use decisions. Sales territory contacts include Veterinarians, pet shops, and assigned wholesalers.

  • Nuoro
  • Ogliastra
  • Olbia-Tempio
  • Oristano
  • Sassari

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

  • Contribute to meet or exceed the area’s sales target through demand generation of the defined product range within the area.
  • Manage territory through ongoing action planning, account planning, effective expense management, and appropriate communication aligned with Elanco’s marketing and sales objectives.
  • Adhere to call plan and related KPIs.
  • Transfer key messages and scientific information about Elanco products to Veterinarians and key influencers within the assigned territory.
  • Implement and execute all marketing programs and initiatives as planned and communicated quarterly.
  • Prepare and participate in business area reviews and forecasts to ensure a constant flow of information between the territory, key accounts, and the District Manager.
  • Ensure knowledge of company procedures and compliance with policies, quality processes, and regulations. Adhere to Environment, Health & Safety policies and complete mandatory training.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in veterinary or related disciplines.
  • Experience in sales and influence.
  • High initiative and strong work ethic.

Additional Preferences:

  • Knowledge of Animal Health Industry economics and drivers.
  • English B1 - Intermediate level.
  • Good presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Influence and leadership abilities.
  • Strong learning agility and team-oriented attitude.
