Position Description:

The Sales Representative will sell and promote Elanco Animal Health products to customers (veterinarians, pet shops) and influencers, creating demand within the assigned territory. The territory includes the following locations:

  • Cagliari
  • Carbonia-Iglesias
  • Medio Campidano
  • Nuoro
  • Ogliastra
  • Olbia-Tempio
  • Oristano
  • Sassari

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

  • Meet or exceed sales targets through demand generation within the territory.
  • Manage territory with ongoing action and account planning, expense management, and effective communication aligned with marketing and sales objectives.
  • Follow call plans and KPIs.
  • Communicate key messages and scientific information about Elanco products to veterinarians and influencers.
  • Implement marketing programs and initiatives as planned.
  • Participate in business reviews and forecasts, maintaining communication between the territory, key accounts, and District Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, policies, and safety regulations, including mandatory training.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in veterinary or related fields.
  • Experience in sales and influence.
  • High initiative and strong work ethic.

Additional Preferences:

  • Knowledge of the Animal Health Industry economics and drivers.
  • English proficiency at B1 (Intermediate).
  • Good presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Leadership and influencing skills.
  • Strong learning agility and team attitude.
