Position: Personal Trainer

Location: US Army Europe

Start Date: 1 October 2025

Job Type: Full Time

Overview: Healthcare Professionals are needed to provide medical services supporting the Military Treatment Facilities and Health Clinics within US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Command Europe, and other DoD agencies including US Navy and US Air Forces in Europe.

Note: Orthotist. This position specializes in providing care to patients with limb and spine disabilities by fitting orthotic devices or prosthetic devices for patients with limb loss.

Qualifications:

• Degree: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Education: Graduate from a CAATE-accredited program or physical/occupational therapy training.
• Certification: Current certification in Athletic Training (NATA BOC) or as a physical/occupational therapist.
• Experience: At least one year post-graduation experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of Certified Athletic Trainer duties following established guidelines.
• Prevent, recognize, treat, and rehabilitate injuries.
• Evaluate and treat musculoskeletal injuries using various techniques and therapies.
• Provide emergency first aid and initial injury assessment.
• Design and fabricate protective equipment and braces.

Support Status: This position is eligible for support under NATO SOFA articles 72 or 73.
