The Permits and Licenses Lead manages the development of PLT’s processes and oversees the creation of all required documents and communication to secure permits necessary for building and operating Pier VIII.

What you can expect

1. Project management for environmental, public works, and other permits
2. Ensure alignment between permitting assumptions and project scope
3. Engage with external stakeholders such as port authorities, environmental agencies, and government bodies
4. Coordinate with project development, design, and licensing teams
5. Manage delivery within scope, time, cost, and quality targets
6. Manage contracts and collaborate with technical specialists and procurement teams
7. Implement best practices for documentation and record management
8. Adhere to safety and security regulations
9. Support departmental and business unit activities
10. Follow corporate policies and report improvement opportunities

What you bring to the table

We seek an experienced Permits and Licenses Lead with a strong track record in managing similar projects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with authorities effectively. The candidate should be process-minded, responsible, and able to track project progress meticulously.

• Proficiency in English; Italian and/or German are a plus
• Experience in legal and regulatory project requirements
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and budget
• Understanding of quality assurance and control
• Strong presentation, influencing, and facilitation skills
• Excellent organizational and relational skills
• Experience working in multicultural, international environments

The ideal candidate will have a valid EU work permit and be willing to work in Trieste.
