Extia in Milan is seeking a Performance Test Engineer to join one of our project teams, focusing on performance, capacity and high availability. You will translate non-functional requirements into actionable technical objectives and drive robust testing practices.

You’ll design automated tests using Python, Jenkins, Ansible and Grafana, operate in Linux and AWS environments, and collaborate with architects and developers to optimize complex systems.

Competenze

• Experience in Performance, Load, Stress and High-Availability testing.
• Automation frameworks and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Python).
• Linux and AWS proficiency; real-time systems a plus.
• Knowledge of performance metrics (response time, CPU, latency).
• Experience managing test scenarios in Xray; Python background; C/C++ a plus.

Mansioni

• Define, implement, and monitor test plans for performance, capacity, and high-availability.
• Design and execute automated tests using Python, Jenkins, Ansible, and Grafana.
• Build and maintain non-regression tests for long-term stability and system integrity.
• Provide KPI-based reporting of test coverage, results, and system health to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, developers and system experts to identify bottlenecks and resolve issues.
• Operate within Linux-based environments and leverage AWS for testing and deployment.
