We are looking for an Apprentice for Buildings, in Milan within the Smart Infrastructure area who will be trained in 2 years as Performance controller.

During the apprenticeship, you will receive comprehensive, state-of-the-art training to develop your personal and professional skills, with the support of a mentor to help you achieve your career goals.

As Performance Controller, some of your main activities will include:

  1. Contributing to long-term and short-term planning activities.
  2. Supporting the monthly performance review process, analyzing actuals, including cause & effect analysis to provide insights on deviations vs budget/forecast.
  3. Collaborating with other financial organizations within Siemens Italy.
  4. Supporting monthly closing activities, reporting, and cost controlling.
Required entry qualifications:
  • You are under 30 years old, in accordance with the Italian apprenticeship contract.
  • You are a recent graduate in Economics or have a finance academic background.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and double entry.
  • Understanding of data analytics with a data-driven and digital approach.
  • Digital savvy and innovative attitude in preparing and processing data.
  • Team player with strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment.
  • Passion for continuous growth.
  • Respect and appreciation for each person’s uniqueness, with a willingness to co-create and share knowledge.
  • Eligibility to work in Italy.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, BI tools, basic data science techniques, and SAP is a plus.
