A leading company is seeking a PeopleSoft Finance Consultant to lead maintenance and upgrade tasks on their PeopleSoft FSCM instance, primarily working remotely. The role involves analyzing user requirements, providing technical support, and ensuring data security and integration. Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft financial modules and experience in solving technical issues in a non-technical environment.

Job Title : PeopleSoft Finance Consultant

Location : Remote

Salary / Rate : €450

Start Date : August

Job Type : Contract

Experience PeopleSoft consultant needed to lead the maintenance and upgrade of our customer PeopleSoft FSCM instance. Will be largely remote.

• Analysis of user requirements for new solutions or of issues within Peoplesoft Financials, working with the SME as necessary, and propose costed options to address needs with timeline.
• Analyse technical issues in PeopleSoft Financials, document root causes, and propose solutions. Design and implement the solution.
• Provide user support for technical issues in PeopleSoft Financials through an internal ticketing system. Tickets must be managed to ensure that users are informed of progress or need for feedback.
• Develop technical solutions for user issues, including updates to Peoplecode, sql scripts or other scripts to resolve data issues, updates or amendments to workflow.
• Resolve performance issues in processes by identifying bottlenecks and developing remediations
• Prepare projects and accompanying documentation for the PeopleSoft support team to migrate project to production.
• Support the application of patches, PUMs and testing post application, working closely with the database managers.
• Provide post go-live support for any solutions deployed to production
• Work closely with developers, Peoplesoft and in other technologies, to validate requirements and ensure integration points are managed efficiently and securely while maintaining the availability and integration of the data.
• Work with the ICT cyber security team to address and issues or propose solutions to improve security and resiliency within Peoplesoft
• Support the ongoing work to improve the robustness of the access control process in Peoplesoft.
• Work with external hosting provider as required on any issues related to the full Peoplesoft stack.

Technical Requirements :

• Experience of working with the listed modules in PeopleSoft Financials, in at least version 9.X
• Highly skilled knowledge of People Tools 8.5x
• Highly skilled knowledge of PeopleCode, including application packages and workflow
• Demonstrable knowledge of security components in Peoplesoft, with ability to setup or modify security components as required
• Strong demonstrable knowledge of problem-solving technical issues and supporting a non- technical user group
• Strong demonstrable knowledge of developing technical solutions for listed modules in PeopleSoft Financials
• Experience of approval workflow - creating new complex workflows
• Experience of designing integration broker messages and component interfaces and other integration methods including preferably, solution design for integration with Cloud SaaS solutions
