The People Business Partner is an ambassador of Apple culture and People vision and strategy for teams that operate Apple Retail globally, through a systemic work that is supported by the Apple talent ecosystem, which includes Corporate Centres of Excellence. People Business Partners are responsible for building and implementing a talent strategy for the business units they support, and for implementing talent programs, products, and strategies through consultative partnership.
- Closely partners with business leaders and People team partners. Defines, aligns and implements the People strategy, proactively engaging with leaders on people strategy through workforce planning, organisation design and structure. Able to understand business needs and strategy to translate them in People strategy.
- Leads effective implementation of talent initiatives, tools, and processes and lead by example by being a positive role model in Apple culture and behaviour.
- Influences and develops leaders to promote a performance culture through effective leading of processes such as Talent Planning, Conversations, Performance Reviews and Total Compensation Planning.
- Ensures effective implementation, integration and feedback of Center of Excellence programs and solutions. Provides consultative support around available talent resources and tools to achieve solutions and talent growth. Leads globally aligned programs and ensures effective implementation of Apple development suite of products.
- Works with leaders to understand and articulate employee engagement feedback and data to improve overall culture and work environment.
- Uses data and People metrics to make recommendations, identify trends and focuses, support decisions through informed storytelling.
- Provides organisational development support and guidance through business changes, working with business teams to understand current and future goals and trends that may impact workforce needs and initiatives.
- Builds leadership capability through development tools and resources, coaching, advice and learning events.
- Diagnoses development needs and executes a comprehensive development strategy inclusive of individualised learning, classroom learning, and other learning methods. Is an expert in Apple development tools. Facilitates leadership development training, leads talent planning process and outcomes with follow-up actions, curating development experiences and plans.
- Partners with Recruitment on internal talent pipeline and planning.
- Partner to drive initiatives aimed to bring to life company's inclusion values, with consideration for talent movement, recruiting and representation as well as targeted development initiatives. Collaborates to develop action plans in partnership with cross-functional partners.
- Executes field-based research, including in-classroom or on-the-job observation, focus groups and interviews, and needs assessments.
- Coaches leaders and consults on key decisions on individuals related to People experience and journey.
- Supports and consults on compensation and benefits decisions in partnership with Compensation and Benefits partners.
Strategic mindset and capability to define, drive and deliver People strategy. Foundational understanding of HR analytics and processes, and experience with HR systems & tools. Strong communication skills and ability to support innovation. Organisational development skills. Highly collaborative style. Willingness and proven ability to work in teams, as both a lead and a supporting team member. Resourceful, self-motivated and able to independently lead a high volume workload in a fast-paced environment. Extraordinary at influencing senior leaders through positive relationships. Ability to coach, mentor and advise where appropriate to help employees grow and develop in alignment with business and personal goals. Impeccable judgment with the passion to balance priorities of the company, managers and employees alike. Strong mind-set for continuous improvement and ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple projects. Strong project management skills.
Turkish fluency strongly preferred.
