Planet Pharma is seeking a Paediatric Research Nurse in Calabria, Italy to conduct patient visits, collect data, and support pediatric studies with professionalism.

The role requires RN with pediatric care, FNOPI registration, and flexibility for travel up to about 50 km; English and Italian fluency is preferred for study coordination.

Competenze

• Certified Pediatric Nurse registered with FNOPI (verifiable via FNOPI number).
• Proficient in IV insertions, injections, and blood draws.
• Experience in phlebotomy with pediatric samples.
• Skilled in venipuncture, injections, ECGs, and specimen collection.
• Cannulation and IV therapies required.
• Able to perform limited physical assessments with a stethoscope.
• Valid driving license with regular vehicle access.
• Up-to-date CPR certification.
• Willing to travel up to ~50 km for visits and study site visits.
• Flexible midweek hours; excluding weekends.

Required Skills:

• Certified Pediatric Nurse registered with FNOPI (verifiable via FNOPI number)


• Recent proficiency in all core nursing competencies including IV insertions, injections, and blood draws


• Strong experience in phlebotomy, handling pediatric blood samples, and blood processing


• Skilled in venipuncture, subcutaneous injections, ECGs, and specimen collection


• Experienced with cannulation, intravenous therapies, and infusions


• Ability to perform limited physical assessments using stethoscope to evaluate respiratory, cardiovascular, and gastrointestinal systems


• Valid driving license and regular access to a vehicle


• Up-to-date CPR certification


• Willing to travel up to approximately 50km for patient visits and study site visits


• Ability to work flexible midweek hours, excluding weekends

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with central venous access


• Familiarity with pediatric clinical research protocols and documentation


• Multilingual abilities beyond English and Italian

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Registered nurse with a strong background in pediatric care


• Proven experience in clinical research settings, particularly in pediatric studies


• Adept at working independently in remote or mobile research environments
