Planet Pharma seeks an Adult Research Nurse in Palermo, Italy to conduct clinical visits and support innovative decentralized trials. You will perform venipuncture, blood processing, ECGs, and injections, while maintaining high study standards.

Requirements include an active RN license, 3+ years in adult nursing, CPR, and fluency in English and Italian. Travel up to 50 km and a nurse-friendly, investigator-supported environment are offered.

Role Overview:

As an Adult Research Nurse, you will play a vital role in conducting clinical visits with adult patients, supporting groundbreaking studies in a fast-paced, decentralized trial setting. Based in Palermo and willing to travel up to approximately 50 km, you will be part of a cutting-edge movement that redefines patient engagement in clinical trials.

Required Skills:

• Registered nurse license from a recognized local nursing association (FNOPI) with verifiable registration number
• Recent experience in adult clinical nursing, including proficiency in IV administration, injections, and blood draws (minimum 3 years of daily practice)
• Strong knowledge of clinical research protocols and procedures
• Ability to perform venipuncture, blood processing, and handling of biological specimens
• Skilled in administering subcutaneous injections, ECGs, and collecting various specimens
• Competent in using a stethoscope for physical assessments of lung, cardiovascular, and gastrointestinal systems
• Valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle, with willingness to travel up to 50 km as required
• Up-to-date CPR certification
• Fluency in both English and Italian (non-negotiable)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with central venous access and intravenous therapies
• Familiarity with blood handling in pediatric or adult populations
• Experience in phlebotomy and managing blood samples in a research setting
• Knowledge of limited physical assessments and ability to perform basic clinical evaluations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Nursing degree from a recognized institution
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in adult nursing
• Prior involvement in clinical research or trials is advantageous but not mandatory
