POSITION SUMMARY :

The Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for CORCYM employees in Italy. This includes managing deductions and remittances, maintaining payroll governance standards, and adhering to payroll policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  1. Communicate actively with Operations, HR, and Billing to review impacts and reconcile data sharing.
  2. Partner with HR to implement and optimize payroll and benefits systems.
  3. Ensure employee data, including wages, benefits, and leave, are accurately reflected in systems.
  4. Prepare management reports regularly, including payroll summaries and compliance reports.
  5. Manage and process payroll and related duties, ensuring legislative compliance.
  6. Audit payrolls for accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  7. Support internal reporting, such as leave and intercompany reports.
  8. Manage employee benefit programs.
  9. Calculate and process termination payments, bonuses, and taxes.
  10. Administer superannuation contributions and other employee benefits.
  11. Handle pay inquiries from management and staff.
  12. Prepare and reconcile payment summaries and maintain staff records.
  13. Collaborate with HR on staff changes and employment conditions.
  14. Coordinate workers' compensation claims and activities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of HR systems such as Payroll System, PMP, HRIS.
  • Understanding of financial principles and reporting.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to payroll.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented and customer-focused attitude.

EXPERIENCE :

Preferably 2-3 years of experience in similar roles within a multinational environment.

EDUCATION :

High School Diploma required; Degree or Master’s in Economics, Human Resources Management, or equivalent preferred.
