We are expanding our global team and looking for a Payroll Specialist to bring their expertise and help us increase the visibility and usage of our product and service.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing payroll for our international clients, primarily in Italy. Your goal is to ensure employees receive their salaries, benefits, and reports on time and accurately. You will coordinate with clients, local partners, and internal teams to deliver seamless, end-to-end payroll services.

Responsibilities
  • End-to-end payroll: Manage payroll for multiple clients, focusing initially on Italy, ensuring smooth data flow between clients and payroll partners.
  • Reporting & record-keeping: Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, maintaining detailed and accurate records.
  • Data validation: Collect, verify, and input payroll data, checking for inaccuracies and following up to resolve issues.
  • Compliance & research: Keep updated on tax and payment regulations in Italy and other assigned countries, collaborating with local accountants to meet legal requirements.
  • Client support: Build professional relationships, respond promptly to payroll inquiries, and meet deadlines.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Work with Customer Experience, Accounting, Operations, and other teams to gather payroll inputs, resolve discrepancies, and provide support.
Requirements
  • Professional background: Minimum 2 years of relevant Italian payroll experience; global payroll exposure is a plus.
  • Knowledge: Payroll best practices, economics, accounting, and financial concepts.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Soft skills: Excellent English communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, multitasking, and adaptability in a fast-paced international environment.
