We are looking for a skilled Payroll and HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll coordination, HR administration, and onsite support. This role involves managing timekeeping data, employee records, and ensuring compliance with Italian labor laws.

The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to efficiently manage multiple HR tasks. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with external payroll vendors for accurate payroll processing
  • Verify payroll inputs like working hours, leaves, bonuses, and deductions
  • Manage timekeeping data and employee records
  • Ensure payroll compliance with Italian labor laws
  • Collaborate with finance for payroll reconciliation and reporting
  • Provide onsite HR support, including archive and document management, employment-related document preparation, and addressing HR-related questions
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes and support local HR projects and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3-5 years of HR experience focused on payroll in Italy
  • Strong understanding of Italian labor law and payroll regulations
  • Experience with external payroll providers (e.g., ADP, Zucchetti)
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Fluent in Italian and English (mandatory)
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS tools (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle)
