Job Description:

A market leader in global financial services and next-generation multi-channel trading software systems, is working with GRS to recruit a Payment Operations Specialist to join their rapidly expanding Nicosia operation. The successful candidate will have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a payments department within the financial industry. Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Work directly with banks, acquirers, and online payments service providers.
2. Manage daily processes and procedures related to PSP performance reporting.
3. Assist with onboarding new payment service providers across different countries, including form completion, document collection, and KYC requirements.
4. Support Sales, Customer Support, and Payments Processing teams with transaction inquiries and rejection reasons.
5. Handle multiple analytical tasks and projects simultaneously.
6. Ensure accurate and timely payment processing in compliance with SOPs.
7. Conduct competitor research for new PSPs.
8. Create and maintain a comprehensive database of PSP information, KYC, and KYB documents.
9. Support the Head of Payments Operations in ad-hoc projects.
10. Follow internal processes and procedures.
11. Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by management.

Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 1-2 years of relevant experience in a payments department within the financial industry.
3. Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
4. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Ability to input data quickly and accurately.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
8. Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
9. Hardworking with good interpersonal skills.
